When would I need health services?
Your physician may order home health care following surgery, a hospital stay or in other circumstances. When we receive your physicians order, our nursing staff will come to your house, review the services you need and then work with you and your physician to establish your treatment goals.
What skilled services will I receive?
Memorial Home Health Care provides several different in-home services based on your needs and your physicians orders.
- Skilled Nursing These services may include injection administration, catheter care, wound care, and tube site care. Education of disease management and processes are also included with skilled nursing services.
- Physical Therapy Our physical therapists provide you with professional treatment that helps to improve your mobility, allowing you to achieve a greater degree of independence.
- Speech Therapy In cases where you may need help with improving speech or swallowing skills, our speech therapist is available to provide therapy in your own home.
- Home Health Aides Our home health aides are available to help you with bathing and other activities of daily living.

Personal Home Care Services
Personal Home Care Services (PHC) is a separate program that allows home health aides to provide personal care and homemaker services including:
- household cleaning
- laundry services
- meal preparation
